I just bought a Browning semi auto in 270. I cant really find any other numbers on it beside it say Browning BAR and tells its caliber in 270. I has a Black wood stock and is in very good shape. Has a cheap looking scope on it though. Havent shot it yet, maybe this afternoon if the rain stops. I picked this gun up for 400 bucks. Is that good or bad? The only marks it has is some small scratches on stock thats about it. Is there any cleaning tips or dos and donts on this rifle? The only experience i have witha rifle is an old .30 cal carbine, marlin 30-30 and my friends ruger 44 carbine....thanks in advance for any help !!!
