Browning Buckmark- yeah or nea?

Mine is from 1993. 100% reliable, eats ALL ammo, although I have never tried "subsonic ammo" (as some have reported in earlier posts). This pistol has a "heft" to it, and I have found is very pleasant to shoot, and feels like a larger centerfire weapon as opposed to the feather-weight rimfires which are available on the market. Mine is very accurate, and rips off 10 shots as fast as you can squeeze, with suprisingly fun accuracy. You will not go wrong with a Buckmark.

It's either a Ruger Bearcat .22 revolver or a Browning Buckmark I think.

I might also look at the Sig Mosquito

Can't go wrong with the Buck Mark or the Ruger (never shot the Sig).
RE: the Buckmark, I can't think of a "funner" gun to shoot a brick of .22 ammo. It's accurate, has GREAT ergonomics, and a wonderful trigger.
I was having the worst day ever some time ago. Grabbed my Buck Mark and a brick of Remington gold bullets. Went to the back pasture, set up some targets, and commenced to burning through as much ammo as I could as fast as I could.
30 mintues later I was smiling like a kid at Christmas and had forgotton what I was mad about.
Get the Buck Mark. You won't regret it.

I also have the problem of the rear-sight screw coming loose after 250 - 300 rounds. I didn't notice this for years, because I would usually shoot 100 rounds per session, so it wasn't an issue.

Is there any solution to the rear-screw problem that does not involve Loc-Tite?

Otherwise, it is (or was) a fantastic gun. Two of my friends bought one after shooting mine.

Thanks for the opinions.

How much does a standard Buckmark cost?

I've been seeing 280-300 dollars new.
