I am needing some help trying to decipher the numbers on my shotgun that I have aquired. It is a FN/Browning 12g and I want to know the year of manufacture if possible. On the bottom of the receiver where it is loaded is a small 62 prefix with a larger 48032. On the left side of the ring that is on the barrel that goes around the magazine is also a small prefix, 62 or 82, with a larger 48032. On the bottom of the barrel near the receiver is a G24519. It also has a FN buttplate that is in great shape. All the writing is in I french I guess. It says 'acier special C12' along with other things. Fabrique nationale herstal belgique. I have searched to the best of my abilities and can't come up with anything. The books that I have don't show anything except belgium browings.

Any help will be appreciated.

And if it has a modified or Imp. cylinder choke that year range and model is damned near the perfect SG IMHO.
