I've been looking for a BHP for a while now. They don't seem to be very common here in CA though, so I've been stuck looking at pictures and dreaming of what might have been.
It seems the gun gods smiled on me yesterday. I took my friend to get his first firearm (a CZ-75) and the dealer had a beautiful, 99% BHP under the glass on consignment. It was a blued Browning model in .40 with adjustable sights. I'm a .45 man myself, and I always thought I'd get the BHP in 9mm, but if there's a gun that could get me to try the .40 it's this one. It was just gorgeous, I'm still drooling over it. I'll gonna replace the adjustable sights though.
How does the .40 BHP shoot? I shot a 9mm BHP once, and that gun was a nice, soft shooter. I'm not a fan of the .40, but I don't really have anything against it. I've shot a friend's G22 and it wasn't bad. Am I right in assuming that the .40 BHP is more pleasurable to shoot than the G22?
