Hi,
I just picked up a nice BSA 12 ga OU. It is a BSA 500, older with fixed chokes and 28 " barrells.

I had never seen one before and was looking toward buying a new inexpensive OU when I found this in the used rack. I bought it not knowing exactly what I had til I got it home.

When I took the forend off it said made in Japan by SKB.

I haven't been able to find anything on this gun but have found quite a bit on Ithaca 500's by SKB and they look identical to this one.

I know SKB's are nice guns so I am just wondering about the BSA connection.

Any info would be appreciated.

Thanks
Jim

BSA?

Birmingham Small Arms, I am assuming anyway. It is identical to the Ithaca's made by SKB. I can't find anything on BSA though....not that it really matters as I got a nice SKB for $299 :)

Legal Theft

:D

I guess that's the upside of big box (Bass Pro) gun depts. They let a good one slip through now and again. Ignorant as I am I knew it was a good gun.

If it's in good shape you got a great deal on a nice shotgun - enjoy.
