Looks like a lot of BSA's scopes are made in China by these two firms? So who uses BSA scopes here and what sort of luck have you had with them? I'm curious is they make any sort of reasonably reliable product?

I got two different styles of BSA illuminated reticle sights for Christmas. They were cheap--$49 each--but had good reviews at MidwayUSA. I finally tried them out yesterday and found that both of them shot about a foot low at 50 yards. And adjusting the elevation screw had absolutely no effect. I'm not ready to quit yet, but so far I'm bummed out.

Anyone have any experience with this kind of problem?

Every BSA optic that I've ever seen used in the field (including one of my own purchase) has crapped out or had a substantive defect of some kind. I flatly will not ever recommend them to anyone for any reasons other than as a way to turn cash into a short-lived novelty.

I've got 6 or 8 , don't remember, have had excellant results with all. However I do no hunting any more as I can't get thru the woods. But using them for bench shooting and getting 1/4 inch groups at 100 yds I'm happy. Mostly have th 24 and 32 power.
