BSA Sweet 17 for K31?

I just made a Grafs order which included a free BSA sweet 17 scope. I already have the St. Marie mount for my Swiss K31, but just never got around to scoping it. Will using this scope on a 30 cal rifle batter it to pieces? It does have a lifetime warranty...

Even if it holds up, I think they're optimized for the 17 rimfires. Other than that, I couldn't tell ya.
