Bubba's gun smithing rifle version.

New bbl time !

'Bout three years back I was gifted a A bolt in .308 that'd been converted to a laser game gun...............trigger mechanism mostly destroyed to enable the trigger to serve as an off/on switch for the laser itself that'd been seated in a deeply counterbored bbl. To accomodate the necessary wiring who ever did the job then discarded the magazine and drilled a hole thru the rear of the receiver to the chamber..........nice 1/8" hole, that one.... Now externally it sure looked good....just like a real gun that it had been.................my good buddy at first came to me asking what he had, when I told him he then asked what it would cost to get it shooting.....I priced it up for just parts and he told me to enjoy my new gun.

Thought I'd aggravate him a bit (been friends for over 50 years) so I found a spankin new .243 tube with the sticker still on it on E bay..........bought the trigger stuff from Midwest and had to have the shank reduced in dia and re threaded............really turned out ok............stuck a cheap chinese piece of glass on the thing and shot an under half inch group with that thing.................Good buddy's face got kinda red when he saw the paper and said he didn't want to pay for the parts and to just keep it!!

Y'never know! !
