Buc-ee's Christmas

So my wife has a hard time Christmas shopping for me. She says if I want something, I usually just go buy it. That leaves little for her to get me for Christmas. So this year, while driving back from Tulsa, she stopped for gas at Buc-ee's. While there, she bought my Christmas gifts, a couple Buc-ee's
T-shirts and PJs. Made for a good laugh Christmas morning. Afterwards, she said I know you just want another gun, so go get one and consider it your Christmas gift. So today, I met a guy at
Buc-ee's, and bought his CZ 97B. He said he'd only put about 100 rounds through it, and I believe him. The pistol looks brand new. The gun club I'm a member of was only about 5 miles away, so that's where I went to try it out. I only put 50 rounds through it, but it's a really good shooter. All that weight makes 45 ACP recoil very manageable. Pretty new to CZ, but starting to gather a few.

I just drove from Savannah, GA to Raymondville, TX and stopped at every Buc-ee’s on the way. They have a knack for spacing them about the same distance as the full tank range of the average automobile.

Guess I should keep it forum related too.

I came down here for a King Ranch hunt.

The Buc-ee's near me (Anna, TX) sells non-ethanol fuel, so it's one of my favorites. They have fair coffee, so that makes it almost a worthwhile trip. I don't know that I've ever bought or sold a gun at Buc-ee's, however... nice score!

The 97 B is a gem that too few people realized while they were in production. Every bit as sweet a shooter as the full-size 75-based guns.

Congrats! Nice addition to your CZ collection!

And as if you didn't already know, your wife's a keeper that's for sure!

Buc-ees & CZ. Best thread ever. Oh, sliced brisket > chopped brisket. My wife will restock our beaver nuggets supply on her trip to St. Aug next month.
