I usually associate Buck knives as you 'old man' folders. I mean the one Buck I carried at times was the 110. I started looking at the CSAR-T and the more I learned the more I liked it.
I just got mine in and I have to say its a very impressive knife. It's heavy yes but it's supremely overbuilt for a folder. I own ZT, Strider, etc but this is already one of my favorite blades hands down.
Zero blade play and the liner locks up like a bank vault. G10 scales are nice and provide a good grip and the jimping is actually functional. Dual steel liners in addition to the liner lock.
I needed a tough knife to toss in my EDC bag or pocket and this is perfect. A beast of a knife.
Looking at Bucks line up I have to say they produce some pretty darn good knives when before I really didn't give them much of a look.
