Has anyone oldered from bud's online gun store. If so we're they good to deal with I'm thinking about buying a double star 16" AR 15 from them.

I have only ordered from them one time so far. Everything went smoothly. I chose to pay with a money order and they had no problem with that. Shipping was quick, once the payment was received.

Wasn't me but on one of the forums I frequent someone was very unhappy with Buds. Something about the gun not shipping promptly even though it was in stock.

I almost did business with them myself. Ended up buying local.

You must send a MO to get the listed price however, they add a few% for credit.

There have been no threads about Bud's so a good thing you asked.

Have you tried asking your local dealer if he can get the product? Or something similar. Because I can sell a DPMS for less than Bud's is advertising.

I've ordered one rifle from Bud's, and shipping was prompt once they received my money order. Plenty of email updates as to status, etc. Rifle was at a great price, and exactly as advertised.

That was about 13 months ago. Ordering a new Savage from them tomorrow, as I was happy with the service.

I've had nothing but good experiences with Buds. Often, their prices on new guns rival the used prices on firearms here in the marketplace. I'd recommend them.

best to make sure and use an FFL they have on file so that the order is very tidy. I think they do alot of volume and you want to make sure its all right there together.

I've done business with Buds three times in the last two years, they're great.

They ship a huge amount of weapons so complaining about processing times is pretty ignorant. If you send them a personal check you'll get the advertised prices but it'll obviously take more time.

well the double star they have is around 800 and its has a few upgrades on it that I wanted to put on so I'll save money that way. So I'm happy

I ordered from Bud's last year for my first time. Be warned the pictures and descriptions may not match. I looked up the mfg part number and the picture matched but the description was off slightly. Instead of calling I just ordered.
When I called the local FFL dealer to verify this was going to work he wanted to try to beat the price. After 10 minutes or so he came back and said there was no way he could come within $100.00 of Bud's price.
I did get exactly the right gun but was keeping my fingers crossed.
My advice is to make darn sure, whatever it takes to insure that you are ordering the gun you think you are. It isn't just a Bud's thing, it should be done on every internet order and it isn't always easy.

We do on average, probably 10-15 guns a month that come from Buds

We are a local dealer and do tons of transfers.

I have never had one client complain about Buds merchandise or the service.

As always though, Caviat Emptor

There is always a first ya know.

Buds calls me on ocassion to varifyn that we will except a shipment.

I have dealt with Buds, even used their 90 day layaway plan on firearms. All went very well, never went more than 2 days without a response to an email. Rifle arrived quickly and exactly as described.

Buds is fantastic and I've heard the "lets see if I can match Buds price" line from local FFLs and here they can't come close on most firearms.

Done three transactions over the past few years and recently in Dec 2010. They are very competent, shipping is prompt once your payment is received, and shipping to FFL on their file does smooth it all out. Also, they communicate with you via e-mail during each step of the process. Prices are usually very good. Highly recommend.

Paid by CC with 3% surcharge and sent FFL info on 1/16/11
CC was charged on 1/16/11
Received FFL receipt confirmation by email on 1/17/11
Received email saying my order was in shipping department and that another email would be sent when shipped on 10:20AM on 1/21/11
Didn't receive an email today 1/23/11
Received UPS ground tracking number but not pick-up confirmation today. 1/25/11.
