I have a BC, it is a copy (roughly) of a 1871 Wesson/Harrington buffalo gun has a beautiful walnut stock and fore-arm and period correct butt plate with a case hardned finish for looks. A Handi has a (pallett) wood stock that is to say it is a non-descript wood that is stained, not very pretty. The longer barrel will let you get better balistics from BP loads which are not nessary as the BC is plenty strong for Marlin lever gun loads but a lot more fun than the others as the recoil from a 7# rifle is a little harsh to say the least with the curved butt plate of steel.
Is it worth $100? it is according to what you want, a period correct to shoot fun loads from or a modern rifle to shoot commercial ammo from!
Hope this helps.
