I need to build a DPMS compatible lower - I do not understand which parts of the lower are different than an Ar15. Can anyone advise me?

I plan to buy the Aero Precision lower unless someone has a reason not to or better suggestion.

Turned out quite well - had to get a propper brake and better recoil pad on the PRS to make it comfortable but it is a good shooter.

I weighed the rifle and it is 10.2lbs without mag or optics/sights so it is not all that heavy - just feels heavy with a forward balance.

I got 2 inch groups with handloads at 200 yards with the military trigger and a 10x scope - I now have a RR NM trigger and will have a 24x scope mounted tomorrow - suspect it is capable of a bit better - good results with Amax and SMK.

I would not hesitate to build on the AP upper/lower but frankly they are all fine.

600.00 complete upper
150.00 lower
50.00 completion kit
200 prs stock
32.00 brake
15.00 butt pad
RR NM - 69.00 from years ago

Optics - the sky is the limit.
