No, you don't need any punches...

The hammer and trigger pins are retained in the receiver by a wire 'pin' that fits along the inside left wall of the receiver and fits in a slot around the head of the trigger and hammer pins.

Removing the wire 'shepard's hook' allows both pins to be pushed out by finger pressure.

There are several very good tutorials on building AKs available on the web. You need to do a quick search and take a look at a couple of them...

Good luck...

I recently replaced the trigger on my slr95. It wasn't too hard. I used a RSA retainer plate to replace the wire shepard's hook, and it installed very easily.

NO!!!! That'll damage the rifle.

Here's instructions on removing the trigger group.

The only hard part about it is working with the wire "hook" (often called a Shepard's hook") that retains the pins.

This site has instructions for removing and replacing the trigger group:

Look on the lower left side for "Fire Control Removal".
