What Bulgarian SLR-95 original and unfired going for these days? It has a black synthetic thumb hole stock sporter stock, milled receiver, 5 rd synthetic magazine and a pinned muzzle brake. It appears to be very well made.

The SLR-95 is probably one of the best AK's you can get. It's 100% Bulgarian made as opposed to the newer Arsenals. On mine I swapped out the stock and added a pistol grip and some other US parts to make my compliant.

I got mine about two years ago, LNIB for $589 and it's one of those AK's I will never part with.In the condition you describe I would place the value of yours in the neighborhood of $1000-$1300. In a world of $600+ WASR's I would say that an SLR-95 under a grand would be giving it away. Comparing an SLR-95 to a WASR would like comparing a Porsche to Pinto, IMHO that is.

Yep, another SLR-95 owner here. I bought mine for $389 way back in '99 or '00, I'll never get rid of. It was my first and only AK and glad I selected one of this quality. I also converted mine to the traditional stock and pistol grip with the U.S. parts kit.
