My CA Bulldog, non-Pug (2.5" bull bbl) suddenly won't release the cylinder by actuating the release latch on the frame. I can pull the extractor rod and it releases fine but using the latch alone wont push it far enough forward to release the cylinder.
This is a one owner gun. I haven't run anything through it hotter than 13 gr of 2400 behind a 245 Keith. In fact, it dont get shot much at all, around 100 rnds a year.
I tried to figure it out without any disassembly and came up empty. It works fine, no binding or excessive looseness (for a bulldog) but it bugs me. Any ideas?
