Bullet and powder question

I have a CVA Wolf Magnum inline and am trying to get some opinions on which bullet and how much powder for deer hunting? What are some of you using? I sighted in my scope using TC HPs 245gr with 100 grains of Triple Seven pellets. Any thoughts?

I haven't toyed with rifles much but I assume they are similar to pistols.
Find what bullet/powder combo your rifles likes the best or one you are familiar with.
Shot placement is most important.

I would start around 75-80 grains and work up by 5. Of course that is difficult with pellets.
