Has anyone had experience with either the Pro or the 15" versions of the Bullsbag? There's a tremendous amount of hype on their website and I was more interested in hearing from someone who has had real experience with one as to how good it is as a rifle rest off the bench.

Thank you.

I've had one for a while, and it works pretty good shooting off a bench.I filled mine with cat litter, and it weighs about 20lbs.It's also sets too low when using it with AR style rifles like my 458 SOCOM,so I have to place regular sandbags under it.But it works fine with standard style rifle stocks.

It really grips the rifle stocks, and helps reduce felt recoil. It's just a pain to carry around.

A buddy uses one on prairie dog trips - no rear bag.
I prefer a front rest/rear bag setup, but he does great with just the bullbag. Not sure if his is the name brand or a knockoff. His is suede leather on the top surfaces.

Bull bag

I have been using my Uncle Buds bull bag for years, but I like the 9" better than the 15" which my shooting buddy uses and his is too heavy. Both are filled with sand. Al

I've got the 15" filled with kitty litter and it weighs in at about 20 lbs. It works pretty well but is lower in height than I would like and I will put a couple of other bags below it and seen in the top picture above.

I like it and it's a lot more reasonable to work with for the average rifle shooting that I do and is better than trying to lug around a Lead Sled. Recoil reduction is moderate but that's all I need for a comfortable range session.

Bull bag

I don't like to use more bags under the bull bag (have before) so I took a 2"x10" and added a 2x4 to each end for the bag to set on and it clamps better that way. Also carry other pieces to the range to get rifle high enough. Al
