What is "bump firing", I recently purchased a sub-2000 and my son found a video of someone "bump firing" one of them. Appears to be autofiring, how is this accoplished and will it damage the weapon?
Rapid firing (of any description) is a recipe for throat erosion. On the other hand, with something like the Sub-2000 I doubt you'll be able to notice any significant loss of accuracy no matter how badly worn the barrel becomes.will it damage the weapon
...a legally owned full auto runs in the thousands of dollars...
No argument from me.I'm POSITIVE I'll get blasted for the following but it's just my opinion and you can take it for what it's worth.
Besides being a ridiculous waste of ammunition, I consider "bump firing" incredibly irresponsible.
Don't we already have enough to worry about from all of the Sarah Brady's in the world WITHOUT giving them more fuel for their fire?

bump firing is a waste of ammo unless you can hit something with it
