Burn Notice gun question

Any Burn Notice fans? Good show. However, a question.

In at least one episode, in which Michael plays an Irishman because the beautiful and very gun loving Fi's brother has come to town, Michael is cleaning an HK USP with the coolest gun cleaning kit I have ever seen.

Does anyone know what kit that is, or is it simply a homemade one? If a homemade one, where does he get the roll up?

I don't watch the show but I saw at cleaning kit that came in a roll at Dicks.

Not an Otis.

It was a leather roll up with pockets for all kinds of stuff, and a cleaning mat. My wife saw it and said, "Why don't you have one of those?"

I think I am going to create one.

Love the show, and I do enjoy the fact that they don't make a huge deal about 50cal guns taking down planes and other completely outlandish crap. Don't get me wrong I am sure they make plenty of mistakes, but at least (so far) they have skipped the worst ones.

That's a great show. Whoever does the weapons work seems to know what they are doing. They have pretty good taste as well.

I recall the episode, but was not paying that much attention to the kit. It sounds like an old mechanics tool kit just used with cleaning supplies. I'd look for a pic, but I have a post Halloween sugar headache now.

It was a little like those Orvis kits, but more pockets and the mat was designed for a handgun.

I'm guessing its a fantasy kit that was made up of various parts of real kits and was intended to look all cool and spy-like.

It was really cool, but it seemed like a genuinely good idea rather then a pure fantasy thing.

You have to go to "Online Catalog", then "Cleaning Supplies" to find the prices. Why an online vendor has a description anywhere on a website without a price and/or link I have no idea.... :banghead: Looks like they have some cool stuff though.

It looks to me like the mat that he is cleaning the gun on isn't attached to the bundle.

Those cleaning tools with the orange handles look like the set I have from Hoppe's. But that roll-up conatiner/kit is not what I have at all.
