I"' have a B MP 5.56 NATO 1/9 H BAR it has an 11.5 in. barrel and a 5.5 in. flash hider is the flash hider removable and how. B MP 5.56 NATO 1/9 H BAR is stamped on the flash hider.

Because the barrel is less than 16" the flash hider is more than likely pinned in place or solered in place. Or both. If you remove the stock flash hider you'll need to replace it with something that is "permanently" attached that brings the length of the barrel up to 16". Otherwise your rifle will become an SBR and you need the proper paperwork for that.

I don't know if there is any collector interest in these ban era BM barrels with the super long pinned flash hider but it sure isn't what most of us would want today.

I think I'd start looking for a nice PSA sale on a real 16" barreled upper!

No, he's saying he can't see a pin so he assumes it is soldered.

There may or may not be a pin, whether you can see it or not. It can't be simply pinned with a through-hole and roll pin driven in. To be legal, it would have to be "permanently" pinned which generally means drill a BLIND hole (not all the way through), push a pin in, then weld over the hole and end of the pin, grind smooth, and refinish. So if done well, you wouldn't be able to see that there's a pin there.

If soldered, it has to be high-temp solder, not your average plumbing stuff, so you aren't going to break it free unless you've got the gear to push it up to about 1,100 deg. F.

Well now, IF he's looking to file a Form 1 and make this a legal Short Barreled Rifle, then figuring out how the FH was secured and removing it (if he's got the tools to do so) is way cheaper that buying anything.

If he's got to pay a gunsmith to do it, maybe not. :)

I thought he was saying the 5.5" flash hider is removable ... and I was saying to SBR as a legal option.

... I went back and re-read the OP and now see he is asking "If it's removable" and asking how to remove it.

I remember a buddy of mine bought an AR back in the 90's and the FH was just epoxied on ... I don't remember what he did with it after he found out ... IIRC he just kept his mouth shut, left on, kept it tight and enjoyed it
