Bushmaster Question

I recently purchased a Bushmaster XM15-E2S. So far I am very pleased with the rifle. My question is mine has an 18" barrel and the vented free float tube forend. I can't seem to find much info on this rifle. BM only has the 16, 20 and 24 inch barrel info on their website. I have been told that this version was made in a limited quantity for a distributor. Anyone have any info to share?

sounds like the predator model to me, it is the short version of the varminter. I love the predator, and if i was gonna add another ar to my collection, 1st it would be another bushmaster, i love mine. and it would be a "predator" with the 18" barrel set up like an SPR.
