Bushmaster Varminter

I have the opportunity to buy a Bushmaster Varminter with the 24 inch barrel, fired only a few times for 800.00. It is like new and comes with some accessories and soft case. The one at Bud's Guns says stainless. Are there other models of Varminter? What is ya'lls opinion of this rifle and is this a good deal?

I had a predator, which was essentially the 20" version and mine wasn't stainless. From what I understand, Bushmaster is now offering the stainless version. They go for around $1000 on up for a new one. My predator shot very nicely.

If it's in good shape, buy it, the price isn't bad. Check the throat/lead area for erosion if you can, probably no problem but....
