Business suit and level II body armor question.

Hey guys (and gals) I'm contemplating a career change which will require me to wear a business suit AND soft body armor (probably Level II) in addition to my regular CCW gear.

So my questions is, is there a rule-of-thumb for dress shirts/jackets sizing when wearing a vest? If I wear a 38 regular business jacket normally, obviously I need to go up a size or two, same with dress shirts- but how many sizes? I'll probably be wearing one of those cool (temperature not fashion) t-shirts under the vest as well.

So I turn to the well dressed and well armed Gentlemen of THR.

I didn't have to make any wardrobe changes for wearing concealable level II to work. I did have to get a new holster though, my usually carry kept the gun too close to my body and the armor interfered with the draw.

If it's of concern, dress with your armor on, and if it's too tight, then at that point go shopping. But I wouldn't worry about it before then.

Oh, but do get some of those collar button extensions for the top button. I have a large neck, the body armor did push that a bit. No problem with the tab extensions though.
