Buy a friend an NRA membership

I was going to send the NRA $100 to help support the cause. Decided a better plan was to buy gift memberships for 3 gun friendly friends who are not members. If every NRA member would sponsor at least one new member it will be a show of strength. Anyone with me on this?

Just make sure those gun friendly friends actually like the NRA. I know two who have more toys than most of us, fought for this country, etc and will not support the NRA for some reason. One gets downright angry when mentioned about joining them.
