Seriously though, the last time I wanted a gun, I simply looked at the finances, saw that I could afford it without causing damage to the family/ I talked to her over dinner, told her that I was looking to buy a certain gun, and wanted to see if she wanted to go with me to help pick it out. She knew that there was a good dinner in it for her afterwards, and that I was responsible enough to have my ducks in a row.
