I have been drooling over some hand guns on Gunbroker and Guns America. Looking for some advise. I'm very skeptical on private owners. Any body have any unfavorable problems buying off a auction site

I have bought and sold over at GB and AA for years. Mainly when buying, though, I have bought from a dealer. I do pay close attention to the sellers feedback. I have had all positive experiences to date.

I have also bought and sold through the site here with no problems.

More and more firearms on the auction sites are grossly over-described. They're all either new in box, like new in box, or "Oh, gosh! I can't tell if this gun's ever even been fired! Gee, whiz!"

Do those people think we're all completely stupid?

I've had considerably better success buying firearms right here at the High Road. We've been much more honest, much quicker to respond to E-mail questions.

There's some nitwit on one of the auction sites with a hoster I'd like to have. I've sent him three E-mail messages. He's apparently too busy and/or too important to respond. Now you know why he's still advertising the holster instead of having sold it to me months ago.

had no problems at Gunbroker or Auction Arms bought from both
just check out the sellers and give them a call and see how they treat you over the phone
good luck

I've bought a number of handguns on AA.First, I know what I want, look at discription and seller feedback. I've only called on two deals. So far, I've been satisfied with the purchases...just buy shooters, not collector grades.Granted, a lot of this stuff is now over rated and over priced.

I have never had a problem with auctions, I only buy brand new firearms from reputable dealers. if I am going to buy something used, I go through a reputable surplus dealer like AIM.
