Buying primed 22lr cases?

    Is it possible to buy these cases and reload some 22lr ammo.

    I somply want to load them with 48grain and fire them at sub sonic speeds...

    No, to my knowledge it is no longer possible to buy primed RF cases. You could, once upon a time, years ago, but no longer.

    Anyway, loading .22LR is not as simple as it might seem at first glance.

    Where do you propose to get "heeled" 48 grain lead .22 bullets from?

    Or reloading dies to seat & crimp them for that matter?

    You can buy CCI "CB Longs" which are sub-sonic and low-noise.

    If you look you can find powderless .22lr ammo.

    It's damn near silent out of a rifle and sounds like an old cap gun when shot out of a pistol. At basement distances it's accurate and makes a nice hole in the big city phone book.
