So Im going to my gun shop in the morning to buy a Sig P220 Elite Stainless tomorrow. After looking online and doing more and more research (which is what I have been doing all week), I am considering the 226 standard, navy and blackwater as well. I know the 226 is used by navy seals and many law enforcement agencies nationwide, and was wondering everyone's thoughts on my decision.
Do the SEALs use a standard 226? I notice sig makes a Navy edition. Are those SEAL spec, or just stamped with a logo to sell for a higher price? Also, what do you all think about the blackwater? I haven't shot a 226, though I may before I purchase the 220 stainless elite... Perhaps I should get the 220 elite stainless now, and a 226 in a few months? What do you think?
