C.C.W.-Open carry

I live in ky. I have a ccw permit,ky. also allows open carry. My question is, if i'm concealed carrying and i accidently expose my gun is it not a problem because of the fact that open carry is legal?

Generally, yes.

Not sure about KY laws, but in Idaho, that is the case.

I live in KY too, how I was told is if you have a concealed weapon and it is showing its up to the officer and the person that called it in to them. You can be charged with brandishing a weapon. But I am no lawyer so take it as a grain of salt.

i'd say you are good. now, it won't stop some nervous nellie from calling the police possibly, but (IMO) the open carry statute should keep you safe. from what i understand, CC vs OC is NOT an either or sort of thing. Just like you can OC and it be partially obscured by a jacket or whatever, as long as you have your CCW permit.

Of course to be sure we all recommend you speak to a lawyer well versed in KY gun laws blah blah blah....
