C&R Bound Book Question

Must an 03 FFL (C&R) bound book be kept on the premises listed on your license (i.e., your house) or may it be kept off-site such as in a safe deposit box at a local bank? I hate keeping important documents in the house, and the original license & bound book would certainly qualify as important!

Oddly enough, your records must remain at your licensed premises, but your fierarms do not. You can put your entire collection into storage somewhere other than your premises, but the book must stay.

On the other hand, there is nothing that prevents you from keeping a backup set of records somewhere else. I keep a copy on a CD stored with all of my other records.
