I am applying for a Federal Firearms License, just a C & R application for antique firearms.
In box 7, applicant is: Individual.
In box 9, position:
Since I am applying as an individual, should I position myself blank as nothing?
Is blank the best response? Is "Applicant, or Responsible Person" the most proper position?

Yes, I was taught to always put n/a for any line on a form that does not apply to you (so the person reviewing the form knows you read that line and didn't accidentally skip over it).

Here I have both been enlightened and found common sense to be common. Thank You for your responses.

Yup, N/A. The C/R thing is somewhat fun; you can do a few things that ANYONE could do prior to 1968 without anyones permission. But, there's the way things are and the way they ought to be...

The things you can do prior to 1968 are with products of that same era.

I bet that the antigun crowds aren't aware of this provision.

I'm progun and unaware of this provision you claim.
An 03FFL Collector of Curios & Relics license has nothing to do with the year 1968. It allows the licensee to acquire firearms fifty years old or older (as of today, JAN 2,1963 or older) or those specifically listed as C&R by ATF.
