I just purchased a Cylinder and Slide Hi-Power hammer and sear set. The hammer comes ready to install, but the sear comes un-prepped and unpolished. I have to admit that I was surprised by that. I thought they were supposed to be drop-in parts. Anyway, I polished the sear nose, maintaining the original angle, and wound up with a heavier (but crisper) trigger pull than with the stock parts. Should a BHP sear have a secondary angle like a 1911 sear? Aside from a lighter hammer spring, any suggestions on improving the trigger pull? Thanks!
