My Colt Government Model has a trigger pull that is a tad too heavy for my liking. I have already changed the mainspring to a lighter one, which helped a bit, however I feel that if I can lighten it a little more it will be just right.

I found that if I remove the sear spring and then test the trigger it releases the hammer at a little over 2lbs of pressure. With the sear spring in place it releases at around 7lbs which is too heavy. I feel that installing a softer sear spring would solve the issue with out me having to touch the hammer and sear mating surfaces, which is something I would like to avoid. Are there softer than factory sear springs available for instalation? I considered trying to bend the original spring but I am afraid that it would just snap. Any advice on how or where to get a lighter sear spring to lighten trigger pull?
