So, I have a friend's beater C96 to fix back up to shooting condition for him, and the gun either needs a new sear spring (hammer pin) or a new disconnector as the disconnecter slips off the spring. I don't have another C96 available to check which part is the worn one, and would prefer not to order both parts from GPC unless I absolutely have to. (Very pricey parts!)
Can anyone with a broomhandle measure the spring length, or the disconnecter for me?
If it matters, it is a Post-War Commercial New Safety model. Thanks!
