Cabelas has S+B primers in stock again-out now it appears

SP + LR $24.99/K
Labor day sale 10% off with free shipping on $99+ orders. (still will have the $20 Hazmat, less than some other places)
Code 6TENOFF (Cabelas code from them, posted on the site)
So that would make the $22.50/K

Yep $17.99 to $24.99, if my stock did that I would be a happy camper.:)
Still a good deal at $22.50 or $25 most other SP seem to be running a least $30/K.

It was $17.99, $20 hazmat, and free shipping. Final price to my door was $18.24 /k. If you do the math on that=I'm well stocked!:D

 I don't think they got in in until sometime after the 22th of August.
Wonder how may they sold in 10 days?

Dang, missed it and that was a really good price too. I've been running nothing but S&B primers for the last couple of years. They seat beautifully and I've never had a single problem with them.

Guess I'll need to keep looking. My stash of SPP is getting low.....

Are these S&B primers blaster ammo quality? How are they when loading for accuracy?

Disclaimer: The gun that I shoot the most from is not exactly noted for its accuracy - before we changed the barrel the last time it wasn't quite MoA, heck it wasn't even MoM (Minute of Mountain - and yes, we did in fact miss the broad side of a mountain 800 meters away.)

I did however have a friend locally that ran a commercial reloading company. I turned him on to S&B primers and after he tried them once, he started running them exclusively. He was selling large quantities of match ammo to some competitive folks around here and was getting no complaints. Now he only did pistol, no long range rifle. My only experience is that they always fired - haven't got a clue how they might have impacted accuracy.

For me they shot just a well as CCI

The S&B small pistol primers seem to feed better than others in my Lee 1000. I was able to get a couple boxes from Cabelas last week.

The current issue of Handloader Magazine has an article that tests the S&B rifle primers (LR and SR). They give them a pretty favorable review and at the end they state:
they worked spectacularly in the benchrest rifle,

They state that they may perform further testing with their proven test load and their benchrest rifle.

I know this article doesn't cover the pistol primers, but my experience with those has been the same: good results!

I've had great hobby results. I just shoot.. not compete. Also, they are a more "angular" primer.. meaning I had to do some smoothing and blending on my LnL progressive to get them to feed correctly. But once that was solved they worked and fed awesome.
