Cabelas Hawken

I picked up a cabelas sporterized hawkin for a steal today!
(Preowned but never fired $99.00)
I would like to get a manual and I need to replace the sling swivels on it.

I have contacted Cabelas by e-mail but I am wondering if anybody has one of these.

Who makes them for cabelas?

They are made by Investarms of italy. They are considered a very good gun company and also make the Lyman rifles.

You did get it at a steal of a price.

There is a good Lyman manual online http://www.lymanproducts.com/lymanproducts/LymanUsersGuide.pdf

but I have never had any luck with an Investarms manual.

I have a Cabela's Hawken also. It is an excellent rifle. Send me a PM with your adddress and I'll send you a xerox copy of the manual. It isn't much really - Maybe 8-10 pages.

KUDO's to Cabela's! They e-mailed me the manual either last night or this AM. Yes they did this over a weekend!

I`ve had one in 54cal for years ..made by Investarms ...Something ya might like to know ..Thompson parts , fit it ...I`ve put Tompson parts on mine , Triggers and lock and such.
