I generally avoid plated bullets, don't care for them. But I may have to waddle by the local Cabela's to check 'em out. It's only 6 miles away, and I do like bargains.....

I usually order 3k 124gr 9mm at a time. $242.88 at Cabelas on sale and $231.15 from RMR every day.

Cabelas has great sales. My bank statement can testify to that. Especially when the S&B primers were on sale for $19.99 a brick. Stacked'em deep I did. But when it comes to plated bullets, Jake is hard to beat. He's had some nice prices on FMJ 9mm, too. Hate it I missed the 9mm 124gr FMJ HP.

I paid $90 for 1000 of the Berry's 155 grain 40 caliber HBRN, with the $20 off coupon, that paid for the shipping and fee's, so it was just like free shipping.

I put a powder trickler on there to get to 100 bucks.

It was the 1000 count 124gr round nose bullet. When I ordered, they were still taking backorders. Looks like they're gone now.

Regular price is around $89, I think.

Oh well. I think we're heading to a "time o' plenty" that should creat the occasional good sale. My plan is to stock up on these sales and still enjoy shooting during the next shortage.

The sale on Noslers didn't last long either, altho they did take back-orders on those also. I ordered 8 boxes of 250 bullets in various calibers and then a day or so later after thinking about it, went back to order more at the good price and it as gone.:banghead:

124 grain flat points are still in stock for $21/250.....$84/1000.

155 grain 40 HBRN is still in stock for $89/1000.

I don't post these sales up until I have my order in, lol.
