I emptied my Lyman 1200 yesterday and refilled it with brass. As I was finishing I remembered your post and tightened the nut holding the bowl on. It was a rubber one, similar to the one that holds the lid on.
Much, much quieter operating. Thanks for the tip.

I have had excellent experiences with my Cabelas tumbler too. It rarely gets used anymore since I went to SS media, but I still use it to remove case lube.
