Maybe 10 years ago at a gun show, I bought a wooden box full of 30-06 M2, linked, 480 rounds in 2 sardine cans with 2 x 120 rounds linked each.

I don't shoot my Garand much, so I am down to like 50 rounds of this left, which I delinked and put in the regular 8 round enblocs.

A couple of months ago, I cleaned up all this old brass and proceeded to reload some. Boxer primed, Brass. Trouble is.........The primers fall out. The primer holes are too big for large rifle primers. What is going on?

The head stamp says ...Try to imagine a circle with 3 sets of numbers, one at the top, one lower left and one lower right. "60A" on top, "30" lower left, "62" lower right.

I was either told or imagined (it's been 10 years) that this ammo was Isrealii. I could be wrong. Green Wood box with rope handles, containing 2 sardine cans each with 2 x 120 linked rounds.

Does anybody know what I have here? I have not opened the 2nd can. Do they make a larger primer than "Large Rifle"?

Any help is appreciated.
