My local shop has a Calico M100 with all wood furniture for $200?

The wood thumbhole stock actually has some very attractive wood grain but needs a little refinishing because its a little faded. The gun looks to be in very good condition and comes with a 100 round mag.

I know almost nothing about these guns but this is the first one I've seen with wood furniture and thumbhole stock.

Is $200 a fair price? I certainly wouldn't be interested in spending much more than that on it and I might even be able to negotiate it down to $175.

$200 is a very good deal. Buy it.

The one I purchased new a few years back was ~$500, if I remember right.

Well, seeing as they're listed on GunsAmerica for closer to $800 with the plastic furniture, yeah, that's probably not too bad.

For $200 it's hard to go wrong. Sure, there might be some issues you may or may not be able to fix, $200 isn't too bad for the risk.

My Callico shoot best with CCI Mini Mags. Will no work with the cheap ammo.
Buy it

Thanks guys, I was thinking that it seemed like a pretty good deal. I went back and put my name on it with a $50 deposit. I'll pay for it at the end of the week once I get paid and post a new thread with some pics.

I couldn't get them to go below $200 on it but they did say that if I had any problems with it I could bring it back and exchange it.

I figure even if I don't shoot it a lot it is an interesting gun and a good conversation piece if nothing else.

that is at least 200 bucks cheaper than it should be, the 100 round heli-mag is worth at least 100 bucks, I would be jumping all over that...
