I run fairly often, an I am currently carrying my POS Tanfaglio 25 ACP in a very small fanny pack. I have seen several references to the Camelbak Goblin as a good non-gun fanny pack.

I ordered one, so this isn't a "should I get one" thread, just seeking any pros or cons.

I will post a review when I get it.

Goblin

I bought a BlackHawk pack that I thought was going to work great for me. I carry a pack a lot during the summer, especially when I'm camping. The BlackHawk is a first-class, quality pack, but it SCREAMS "He's got a gun!!!" It is also very stiff, so bending with it on is not very comfortable.

So I ordered a Goblin a few months ago. It's a lot bigger than the BlackHawk, but it looks like a regular fanny pack, so it's not so obvious. It may be too big... I'm not sure about that yet.

The big plus for you - a runner - is pretty obvious. It's the bladder the pack contains. You won't have to carry a drink bottle with you if you use the Goblin's water-carrying ability.

BTW - You may find that the belt strap needs some modifying. It's comfy material, but the adjustment mechanism slips quite easily. I had to do some custom sewing to shorten it to fit me, and to secure one end so that it is no longer adjustable (don't know why they designed it to be adjustable on both ends).

Thanks for the input... How is the holster that comes with it? Right now I am carrying a small 25 ACP. I want to shift to my CZ 75 Semi-Compact.

Here is a few pictures of the 25 ACP and the fanny pack that I am using. The gun goes on one side and my keys go in the other.
