Hi folks,

Does anyone know what percussion revolver this is and what business it would have had in a movie about 1860’s Australia in the hands of Ben Hall and his gang? What’s the deal with the odd cylinder and round barrel? I’m guessing Leech and Rigdon, but I’ve never seen that cylinder before.

Yep, a toy or cheesy wall hanger thing. See United States Replica Gun Company.

Is there an early mod Griswold & Gunnison with a cylinder like that? ... or maybe one of those Texas guns in 36. Tucker & Sherrard ??

No, the G&G looked the same as a L&R but with a bronze alloy frame. If by Texas guns you mean a Paterson they looked nothing like that.

The Tucker & Sherrard was based on the Colt dragoon. No real gun has cylinder notches like that.

Good deal. Assumed there was a real life basis. Not. That Google image has been living in my brain rent free for too long. Thanks.
