I just found out (from the sections on shipping restrictions on a few airgun retailers' sites) that Philadelphia -- naturally -- in some way "restricts" airgun use.
Searching the city government's website (for terms like air gun, air rifle, airgun, bureaucratic knownothings ...) gets me no joy, and several google searches also don't get me much more information other than a bunch more retailers who warn customers on their site that Philly's not a place to which they'll ship.
Also tried searching the NRA site (which, frankly, gives awful results -- lots of ambigiously titled pages, no sense of the context in which words like "air rifle," "air gun" or "Philadelphia" are actually found), and ... yes, I am useless, I think
Can anyone help me by pointing out anything about Philly's airgun laws? I suppose I could keep an airgun with the rest of my good toys in Harrisburg, but what a PITA That's precisely one reason I was hoping to get an airgun
