So I have kinda been in the mood for a new rifle, and have been on a kick with pump action rifles. Does anybody make a pump action rifle chambered in say .44mag or .357. I know there are plenty of lever guns in these calibers but don't think I have personally seen a pump one.

Any suggestions?

Look up the taurus thunderbolt, I think it is in 45 colt and maybe others.

+1 for IMI Timberwolf if you can find one used, but they are not cheap. The Taurus seems to be the best deal going right now, but carbine-lenght ones seem hard to find. The Berettas are beautiful but pricey. If you are looking for something inexpensive for plinking and home defense, you could do a lot worse than a Henry .22 Magnum pump, but those run almost as much as the Taurus. At that price, again depending on what you're looking to do with it, you might as well get a Remington 7600 pump in a full rifle caliber. Overall, the lever guns seem quite a bit cheaper than the pumps--hard to go wrong with a Marlin 1894C in .357 Magnum.

Beretta makes their Gold Rush rifles and carbines in .357 and .45 LC.
