Can anyone tell me what this is?

Hi,
I have a single shot rifle marked: HWZ MOD29.S. On the barrel it is marked
6/22 Long Rifle. It's a drop block lever action, color case hsardened, and has
double set triggers. The barrel has a long set of grooves which are not for tip off
scope rings. The Square mount on the rear of the reciever is, I'm sure for a rear
mounted peep type sight. Other than this I'm at a loss as to what it is, except
I'm pretty sure it's German workmanship. Got it from an estate auction.
Any help will be greatly appreciated.

Its a Weihrauch . HWZ (Hermann Weihrauch, Zella-Mehlis). Its a rolling block .22. Ive seen a few over the years. Nicely made pre war German .22's.
