Can I put an LR308 upper on my AR-15?

Can I put a DPMS LR-308 Flattop Upper Assembly 308 Winchester on my Bushmaster AR-15 5.56 NATO lower? And are there 5-round 308 mags to fit it?

Negative. .308 uppers are MUCH larger than 5.56 uppers.

Darn ! I guess I just have to buy another rifle

It won't fit the standard AR lower, but yes, there are 5 round FAL mags (what the RRA takes) and I'm sure the other makers like DPMS have 5 rounders for their 308 ARs for hunting.
