I posted this over in the political/law forum and got zilch. Thought I'd try in here...
Hi,
Yes, I'm in the PRC. Now that we have that out of the way I have a question for you good people.
I am interested in owning an assault rifle. Not a PRC nuetered plinker but a real, honest to God assault rifle. M4 Carbine-ish is what I'm thinking. Knowing full well the laws and regulations of the PRC you all realize as well as I do that if I acted on those desires I'd have free meals and housing for the next 20 years or so, something I'd wish not to happen.
Ok, so I have relatives that live in Nevada. I would very much like to go to Nevada, purchase what ever assault rifle I decide upon and leave it in Nevada at my relatives house, never crossing the iron curtain.
What legal obstacles, if any, am I going to face in legally aquiring an assault rifle in Nevada and permenantly storing it in Nevada even though I am a resident of the PRC and the PRC only.
