hi guy's,
i have noticed this item on ebay threaded barrel bushing and call me stupid but surely when it's mounted and the action cycles what ever is screwed to the end will hit the dustcover? or when the slide comes back the barrel will hit the inside of what ever is mounted on it, does this make sense?

thanks

guy

The threaded part of the bushing would be relieved so that the barrel will be able to pass all the way through it; of course, if you thread something onto that bushing that doesn't have enough clearance for the barrel and/or the bullet, then that something is going to be either damaged or sent downrange.

Looks like it is intended for James Bond wanna-be's. Ranks up there with the bushing compensators that are little more than a tube with slots cut into it attached to a barrel bushing.

i have one of these...its an adapter to use a sionics .45 suppressor that is usually put on a mac 10, onto a 1911 colt. you just replace the original bushing with that one and you screw the can onto it. works pretty good, but it wont cycle the action, so it is single shot...
