I'm going to replace a gripscrew bushing on my 1911. I was going to order the cylinder&slide bushings and i've got some of their grip screws also an some blue loctite. Is that everything I need or is there a special screwdriver bit or something that would help? Should I measure to make sure the threaded end of the bushing isn't going to make contact with anything inside the mag well?

You will need a real thin bladed screwdriver.....

the slots in the bushing are small. I would imagine that the bushings from C&S would not have a problem with thread depth as they are a high quality operation......chris3

I always test fitted the bushings to make sure they wouldn't protrude into the magazine far enough to contact the magazines.

Takes just a minute to screw the bushings in hand tight and check, and can save trouble later on.

As for a installation tool, the Brownell's bushing driver is money well spent.
It supports the sides of the bushing and allows installing or removing them without chewing up the slots in the bushing.

Before applying Loctite, clean the bushings and the holes in the frame with a solvent like Acetone to remove all lube.

After allowing 24 hours for the Loctite to fully cure, re-apply lube to prevent rust.
